Good questions. Clear answers.

A little curious?

Who is Uppy?

Uppy is ScaleUp Kids’ official yellow robot mascot and creative guide. In lessons Uppy reads pre-written guidance aloud, and in signed-in family accounts Uppy can also give live AI coaching and make AI pictures.

Can my child sign up?

Children do not get their own accounts. A parent or guardian aged 18+ creates a family account, gives consent, and adds learners with made-up nicknames. Each learner has daily AI limits.

Can Uppy make AI pictures?

Yes, for learners in a family account with parental consent. In the Junior “Words into pictures” mission learners write a prompt, generate a picture, improve the prompt and compare before and after. Prompts are safety-checked first.

Are pictures and chats saved?

No. The academy never stores chats or pictures. They stay on screen until you sign out, and you can download a picture to your own device. Only nicknames, tracks, completed missions and XP are saved.

Can I delete my child’s data?

Yes. On the family dashboard a parent can delete a learner, withdraw consent (which deletes every learner), or delete the whole family account at any time.

Can we try without an account?

Yes. The Junior hero and Teen flyer lessons work without an account; progress then stays only in this visit and clears on refresh. AI chat and pictures need a family account.

Will children’s projects be public?

No. There are no public galleries, profiles, messages or comments.

Who is ScaleUp Kids for?

Junior Creators is designed for ages 8–12, and Teen Creators for ages 13–16. Parents, schools and youth organizations are welcome to explore.

How much will courses cost?

Pricing has not been announced. There are no payments in this preview.

Can schools or youth groups take part?

Educators aged 18 or older can join the waitlist using the educator option. No student information is needed.
